In collaboration with Rock on Channahon, the Village of Channahon is hosting its second annual Art in the Park. The event will be held at Central Park in front of the Park District building. Artists are asked to create works such as paintings, drawings, sculptures, and/or photographs.
Artists are welcome to submit up to two works as part of their entry into the Art in the Park event. All work that is accepted will be judged by the newly established Channahon Arts and Culture Commission. Anyone not wishing to participate in the competitions may be eligible for the local showcase featuring artists of all ages. There will be free sidewalk chalk art and an opportunity to discover local artistry and talent. We can’t wait to see the friendly competition through all types of art mediums!
